Although their size and strength give the impression that a Siberian Husky would make a good guard dog, the truth is that they’re generally much too friendly and gentle to serve that purpose. That trait, plus their cleanliness, makes them ideal for families, but only if they have a lot of room to run around in and, preferably, if they have other dogs to play with. It’s easy to underestimate how active they are.
